Client
Zamora Company
Licor 43 is the pride of the Zamora Company: a family recipe that became the Spanish liqueur with the greatest international reach. With the European market in mind, they created a special edition: Licor 43 Baristo, which included notes of coffee from Agaete, in the Canary Islands, in its legendary recipe. The essence of Spanish coffee culture, infused in a bottle.
Challenge
An homage
to coffee culture
The challenge was to create a bottle that would go beyond packaging to evoke something that the visitor discovers in Spain, and that he or she would love to take back home with him or her: the coffee and bar culture.
Solution
Anticipating
the delight from the label
In the best cafés, details make all the difference. That is why we wanted to accompany the launch of this unique liqueur with an elaborate sensory experience that would take the user on a journey through time and space from the first contact with Baristo: its neck.

Centenary design
at the cutting edge of packaging
Targeting a more premium segment, we searched for inspiration in Art Deco cafés, mythical places that transport us to other eras, such as the Café del Espejo in Madrid, and the Café de la Ópera in Barcelona. Our goal: to inspire a design steeped in the Spanish bar culture, and appreciated and recognized in the rest of Europe.
-
We distil patterns in gold on black to anchor us to the splendour of art deco.
-
Tinted with a black and transparent gradient to reveal the colour of the liqueur.
-
Geometric composition of the label around the Licor 43 personality symbol.
Thanks to a collaborative venture with our suppliers, we were able to give this piece a coffee aroma, emulating the sensation of enjoyment and creaminess that overcomes us when drinking coffee in any of the emblematic places that inspired this project.
