Nextus is a platform created by DocsBarcelona with the aim of offering a dynamic and creative tool that transmits knowledge and connects with students through documentary film.
In a context in which the educational system needs new formats and experiences to engage with today's students, Nextus becomes an innovative learning method that highlights and values quality documentary resources as a powerful tool to engage, inspire, transmit knowledge, unite and strengthen human actions towards others.

At Morillas, we set ourselves the challenge of translating the platform's differential value proposition into an attractive brand positioning for the international education sector and providing the project with a visual and verbal identity.

A project this inspiring and ambitious required a complete immersion that allowed Morillas' creative team to understand the trends and future of the education sector and the opportunity that the documentary platform represented.
The platform transformed the documentary into a teaching resource, providing a new format for learning and reflection that facilitates the transmission of values and curricular content in response to student needs and the dynamics of today's society. This promise was key to the development of Nextus' positioning and brand platform: a document that would serve as a guide and inspiration for the brand and for the new international educational landscape.

The result conveys the brand's digital native personality and soul through a proprietary use of codes, shapes and colors characteristic of the digital universe.

Inspired by neomorphism, the UX/UI design presents dynamic and accessible interfaces with a strong personality. A proposal dominated by round shapes, modules, widgets and buttons that facilitate navigation and guarantee an innovative and user-centric browsing experience.
White, green and black are established as the colors that define the Nextus visual identity. This new color scheme allows for the creation of slight contrasts that provide depth and distribute light, creating a vibrant and innovative proposal without compromising accessibility and comfort during reading.
The logo itself represents a standard switch within the digital universe and functions as a visual metaphor for the transformation and progress that this tool signifies for the international educational community.
