• 1962-1983

  A name: Antoni Morillas

  Our name is a family name. That of Antoni Morillas. He was the origin. He’s the destination.

  Morillas, Antoni (Barcelona, 1932, Montpellier, 1983). The founder of our agency and the reason we are who we are. Pioneer of a new profession in which design became a communicative solution – something functional and useful. Morillas, with the support and complicity of Beta Albuixech, lived and breathed every project. He passionately devoted himself to each and every one. “Go over it again” he would say. “Let’s go over it again”, we continue to say.

• 1983-2003

  From Studio
  to Branding Agency

  From Antoni Morillas to Lluís Morillas. 
A new vision. We grow. We branch into greater specialization and more solutions blossom.

  From signature design to design in the name of customer service. Specialization also makes its mark. And morillas grows. Lluís and Beta bring together a team of eight people. Their shared passion moves from the studio on Diagonal Avenue to the HQ in Gerona Street, to Sarria and finally to Palauet Minerva. Branding moves them ;)

• 2003-2010

  Global challenges
  and integral solutions

  Behind every great design is a great strategy. Think + Feel = theel. Brands are experiences, for all six senses and each contains a story waiting to unfold. Branding is (almost) everything.

  The agency continues to grow, as do the challenges our clients bring to the table. Strategy becomes the lighthouse to our designs. We go from thinking in images to thinking for images. But a strategy is naked without emotion. Creating emotion and excitement means really getting to know the brand. Feeling it. And for this reason we add ourselves and the client to the mix (and we do the math our way: 1+1 = 1).

  We grow through continuous communication. We share and we learn. New challenges mean new solutions, teams, and audiovisuals. @Theel. Because branding is (almost) all of us.

  The digital age approaches us all. It helps us to converse. And for us, the best part of a conversation is listening. We learn and collaborate. New projects emerge, accompanied by new challenges and solutions. More homegrown theel and more theel as an added ingredient. 1 +1 +1 +1 +1 = 1. Because nobody’s smarter than all of us put together.
